Press Releases

DNAML’s PDF to ePub Software Wizard free upgrades already being released... With more to come!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

“You Spoke... We Listened!”

(Sydney — September 23, 2009)

DNAML has announced plans to roll out a number of FREE upgrades to their newly released ‘PDF to ePub’ software wizard.

PDF to ePub Version 1 has taken the publishing industry by storm, allowing users to quickly and effortlessly convert PDF documents into the industry-standard ePub eBook format.

Five days after PDF to ePub was released, DNAML introduced a FREE upgrade that includes the ability for publishers and authors to customize the front and back covers of ePub eBooks.

DNAML has now identified a number of other upgrades which will be rolled out shortly.

DNAML CEO, Adam Schmidt says: “We have had a tremendous initial response to PDF to ePub from the adoption perspective”.

“What’s more, publishers and authors are offering not just supportive comments, but we are also receiving much feedback as to the type of enhancements we should be focusing on as a matter of priority,” says Schmidt.

DNAML is devoted to producing the highest-quality PDF to ePub conversion software in the market.

Over the next few weeks DNAML will release FREE upgrades to the PDF to ePub software wizard. Some of the new features will include:

·         Auto extraction of URLs from the PDF eBook to ePub in a hyperlink form. This means that web links, email addresses, downloadable links and all other URL-related links will be extracted from the PDF and displayed as live links in the ePub.

·         Extraction and inclusion in the ePub of Bookmarks (internal linking within the eBook) and Table of contents residing with the PDF document

·         Upgrades will allow for support for multi-column displays in ePub conversion from PDF

·         Identify the vectors from the PDF and convert them to ePub standard vector format SVG or images

·         Video and Audio extraction from PDF to ePub

·         Identification of tables in the PDF format, creating an output of these tables to ePub in either image form or HTML table form (HTML form allowing the tables in the ePub to be searchable).

Also, big news on the horizon for Mac devotees....  DNAML is now tailoring a native MAC version of PDF to ePub which is expected to be released within 4 weeks.

Finally, to encourage greater publishing community integration, DNAML has introduced a ‘PDF to ePub Members’ Forum’ to allow for suggestions and feedback, as well interaction between participants.

“Feedback from our customers and the industry in general is critical to making PDF to ePub the best it can be. We have been developing software for 11 years and see our customers as our partners in the development process,” says Schmidt.

Free Upgrades to Version 1 of PDF to ePub will continue to roll out over the next few months.
