  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Sometimes Flash/movies/mp3 does not play on some PCs but has no problems with others.

Embedded multimedia does not play, but streaming multimedia plays properly.

This is hard to diagnose, generally the problem is due to the book not being able to access the temporary files folder.

The problem is almost certain to do with the temp folder being full or that you do have enough user rights to write to the folder itself (this is rare). To check user rights, make certain you log onto the PC as an administrator and see if the book still works.

When a book encounters a page with an embedded multimedia object, it needs to extract that object to the windows temp folder before it can play it.

To quickly locate and clean out the Temp folder, follow these steps:

1. Shut down and restart Windows XP.

2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing [Windows]R. Or START > RUN from the menu

3. Type %Temp% in the Open text box, and click OK. Windows Explorer will immediately launch the Temp folder. Because you just restarted the system, you can safely delete any files and folders that you find there.
