Manual registration is usually only necessary if the automatic registration does not work.
1. In the manual registration dialog box, it will ask for a Product Registration Key (PRK).
2. Please ensure that you are properly connected to the Internet. Click on the get registration key button.
3. The Desktop Author program will connect to an on-line registration page on the Internet to register. Just follow the online instructions. If asked, please fill in your registration details. You will need your Certificate Product Key (CPK) and a Product Registration Code (PRC) (which is automatically generated by the Desktop Author as above). Note: if you have problems connecting please check that your firewall is not blocking the connection.
4. On successful registration, the Registration Page will give you a Product Registration Key (PRK). The Product Registration Key (PRK) will unlock the product when entered into the appropriate “register your product” section of the program (located in the ‘About’ box area). Click the register button to finish registration.
Note: The Product Registration Code (PRC) will change if you install the program on a different PC, or if you reinstall Windows. In either case, you should contact us to have it reset.
