  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Why is the book editor slow to respond sometimes when manipulating large areas of text or certain page components?

Text manipulation requires a large amount of internal calculations to complete. When coupled with a multi-level undo, this is amplified several times. You can quickly clear the undo buffer by clicking on the ‘refresh’ button. Please note that this will remove any pending “Undos”. Please remember that when you are changing text with text flow, you are not only shifting the text on this page but all the following pages as well.

You may experience slow downs due the large number of objects on the screen as well, ie. it is recommended that you keep the number of objects, eg. text, boxes, images, etc to less than 50 per page depending on your system. Note: This number of objects does not effect the operation of the final books, only when you are editing, so you can have hundreds on a page without issue.
